About Us
IDALAP – Laboratory of Ideas, Dialogue and Actions for Peace – is a platform for applied research, dialogue and collaborative action aimed at strengthening access to justice, restorative justice practices and human rights in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Through the production of knowledge, the facilitation of dialogue among diverse social actors and the development of innovative pedagogical and institutional tools, IDALAP seeks to contribute to the transformation of justice systems by promoting approaches centered on people, the repair of harm and the construction of more inclusive and equitable societie

Restorative and Relational Justice
Development and promotion of restorative processes focused on repairing harm, restoring relationships and supporting social reintegration.
Human Rights and Governance
Research and policy analysis on human rights, institutional accountability and governance processes.
Prevention of Trafficking in Persons
Legal analysis, institutional strengthening and training programs focused on preventing trafficking and protecting victims.

Access to Justice
Strengthening institutions and promoting people-centered justice systems that guarantee effective access to rights.
Justice for Children and Adolescents
Promotion of child-friendly justice systems and restorative approaches within juvenile justice frameworks.
Publications
The publications of IDALAP reflect our commitment to generating knowledge that contributes to strengthening access to justice, promoting restorative approaches and advancing human rights in Latin America and the Caribbean. Through research papers, policy briefs, reports and educational materials, we seek to bridge academic analysis with practical solutions for institutions, communities and decision-makers. Our work aims to foster dialogue, inform public debate and support the development of more inclusive, responsive and people-centered justice systems.
